Training ground

The Munich Racecourse is one of two German racecourses that benefits from a separate training area.

We have a 1mile 2furlong oval grass track, a 1mile 1furlong oval sand track for daily training which is processed at least 3times a day, numerous walking and trotting paths and a covered riding hall at our disposal.

In our "workshop" minor repairs and adjustments can be carried out directly in the stable. Custom work such as a stable-specific imitation of the Monty Roberts blanket (starting machine blanket) is also carried out here.

A good working atmosphere is for us the most important thing. If the mood in the stable is good, the horses are happy as well. We all have breakfast together in the morning while the horses eat their first portion, we inform each other about the horses, and discuss the day. During work, we always act on the horse's behalf and ensure that the process is as stress-free as possible. Of course, every horse gets an individual training and nutrition plan. Our goal is to prepare them for their racing career as gently as possible so that they can enjoy and be successful in racing in the long term.
